  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt

  • 1/8 teaspoon of ground nutmeg
  • 1 cup of shredded Swiss cheese

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out your pie crust and place it into a 9-inch pie dish. Trim any excess crust and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, cook the diced bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove from the skillet and place on a paper towel to drain.
  4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, milk, eggs, salt, black pepper, and ground nutmeg.
  5. Sprinkle the bacon onto the bottom of the pie crust. Then, pour the egg mixture over the bacon.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded Swiss cheese on top of the egg mixture.
  7. Bake the quiche for 35-40 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is golden brown.
