Chicken Caesar Wrap - Here’s an easy way to assemble one

If you are a lover of Caesar salad, you will love the Caesar salad wraps. They are the perfect quick lunch to eat on the go or at your desk.

Also, they are very easy to make. After all, it's just a Caesar salad wrapped in a soft flour tortilla.

For this recipe, I added cooked chicken to create a more satisfying meal.

Tips for Making a Homemade Chicken Caesar Wrap

As with most simple recipes, the quality of the ingredients is important.

I recommend making your own Caesar dressing and croutons and using freshly grated Parmesan cheese.

Toss the salad in a large bowl to ensure everything is evenly covered with the dressing before wrapping.

Use large tortillas, they are easier to wrap. Mine was about four inches wide.

Don't overfill the tortilla. This makes winding difficult.

Do you love a salad? Wrap it!

The general idea is this: take a salad that you like and wrap it in a tortilla. This opens up a world of quick, easy, and delicious wraps. Here are some salads you can try for a wrap:

  • Kale Caesar Wrap – A seasonal twist on the classic Caesar, with anchovy-free dressing. Make sure the croutons are bite size. A sprinkle of plain hummus or a boiled egg would be a great idea.
  • Avocado Chicken Wrap – A tangy buttermilk sauce, shredded chicken, and creamy avocado are perfect candidates for eating on a white or wheat flour tortilla. Break the garlic toast into small pieces with your hands before tossing on the salad.
  • Green Goddess Wrap: Green Goddess Dressing is a creamy herb dressing that can cover crisp lettuce, cucumbers, leftover roasted vegetables, and cooked grains like chewy farro. Here's another bowl of beans that would be delicious wrapped up.
  • Tahini Chicken Wrap – This super easy Sesame Chicken and Radish Salad is great if you love tahini.

How to Store Chicken Caesar Wraps

Wraps, like most sandwiches, are best eaten fresh, but if you want to make them ahead of time, they can be assembled and refrigerated for up to 2 days, tightly wrapped in plastic wrap, parchment paper, or parchment paper.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups chopped cooked chicken
  • 2 cups of chopped romaine lettuce
  • 1/3 cup Caesar dressing
  • 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup croutons
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 4 large (10-inch) flour tortillas

Method

Make the salad:

In a large bowl, add chicken, lettuce, Caesar dressing, Parmesan cheese, and croutons.

Mix until everything is evenly covered with the sauce.

Taste and season with salt and pepper, if necessary.

Wrap the salad:

Lay one tortilla flat on a cutting board or clean work surface. Add a quarter of the salad to the center of the tortilla.

Fold the left and right edges in toward the center, then fold the side closest to you and roll up tight.

Secure it with a toothpick, if you like.

You can also keep the wrapper seam down so it doesn't come undone. Assemble the remaining 3 wrappers in this manner.

Serve:

Cut the rolls in half or serve them whole. Chicken Caesar Wraps can be wrapped in plastic wrap, parchment paper, or aluminum foil and refrigerated for up to 2 days.
