Char Siu Chicken is a Chinese-style BBQ dish that's become a favorite among foodies all over the world.

Char Siu (which means "fork-roasted" in Cantonese) typically refers to a preparation of pork that's been marinated in a sweet and savory sauce and then roasted until tender and flavorful.

In this recipe, we'll be using chicken instead of pork, making it a healthier option without sacrificing any of the flavor.

The key to a great Char Siu Chicken is the marinade. It's made with a combination of hoisin sauce, soy sauce, honey, Chinese five-spice powder, and other seasonings.

The result is a sweet and savory sauce that coats the chicken, infusing it with flavor and giving it a beautiful glaze when it's cooked.

To prepare Char Siu Chicken, the chicken is first marinated for a few hours to overnight in the sauce to allow the flavors to soak in.

The chicken is then grilled or roasted until it's cooked through and has a slightly charred exterior.

The result is a juicy and flavorful chicken that's perfect for a family meal or a party.

Char Siu Chicken is a versatile dish that can be served in many ways.

It's often served as a main dish with rice and vegetables, but it can also be sliced thinly and used as a topping for noodles, sandwiches, or salads.

It's also a great option for meal prep, as it can be made ahead of time and reheated throughout the week.
